@#$% happens

I had a small swelling problem with my right knee last summer after sliding into a base. Then my the fall of this year my junior year of high school I played softball for my high school team. I wore a brace and had no problems at all with my knee all season.
Then during this spring I was inline to be the varsity soccer goalie. None else wanted to be the goalie execpt for me.(lol) On the second day of practice I felt the big "Pop" and I just knew something bad was wrong. I went to the doctor that week and had an MRI. To find out that I tore my acl and was going to surgery this summer.:<
Now i can't play soccer this season and some freshmen girl who didn't even want to play goalie at first took my spot and my team is having a winning year.
And because I can't play sports for 6 months after surgery, I won't be able to play softball my senior year of high school. After playing ball since the 2nd grade, playing a couple of years of select softball and being the starting starting varsity catcher my freshmen year, I won't be able to play my senior year, the most important year.
The doctor and my parents thought that after years of being a catcher and a goalie that my knee was already weaker and it could of happened anytime it was probably just a matter of time.
I just can't wait until this is all over and my knee is better so I can move on and not be upset about it anymore. My parents told my that sometimes @#$% happens and you just have to pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and move on the best that you can. But that is easier said than done.
