Hi
I tore my ACL skiing last February, had a successful surgery and followed up with more than 6 months of PT. I consider my recovery very successful in all aspects of my life except when skiing.
In my job I am on my feet in excess of 8 hours a day, and
I sometimes walk up to 13 miles, including LOTS of stairs, all with almost no discomfort.
Skiing, however, is after only a few hours becomes quite painful.
Before the accident, I could usually ski (hard!) up to 6 and a half hours.
Do you think I will have this pain from now on or will it get better with time? What, if anything, can I do to speed healing?
Thank you so much for your help,
