ACL Injury/Surgery

I tore my ACL, 2nd degree tear of my MCL, and a very small tear on the posterior part of my Lat Meniscus. The injury date was May 11th and I chose to have surgery on June 2nd using my patellar tendon.
Prior to surgery I was able to do full weight-bearing w/o any pain and even went fishing and walked about 10 miles three days prior to surgery. My quads were noticeably weaker and smaller however.
I chose general anesthesia and a femoral block. The surgery went well and I didn't have any pain for roughly 36 hours. I was prescribed hyrocodone for the pain. The pain really started around day 4 when I would transition from laying down to standing. All of the pain was prior to any weight-bearing and it was all around the shin area. The majority of my swelling is above the knee just as it was prior to surgery. My first meeting with the PT was three days after surgery. I was 8 degrees short of extension and had 78 degrees of flexion. The pain icreased over the weekend in the shin area and I didn't want to stand at all. Four days after my my first appt with the PT I had Ext the same and Flexion to 95. I still don't have any pain but I can't move it any further due to the swelling. The pain is still there when I transition from bed to standing. It lasts for about five minutes. I am now 8 days post surgery and look forward to not using the crutches. I've been partial weight-bearing since the beginning but my shin pain is limiting me from moving. Any info or suggestions would be great.
