hey i play div 3 college lacrosse and have been all conference for the past 3 years and an AA honerable mention. i am a senior now and i tore my acl during our first joke of a game. will go for surgery after i graduate in early may. what am in for? im trying to do a graduate year, and red shirt this year, so does anyone have any advice if i will be good for next spring? i currently ride the bike 10 miles a day and do deadlift and leg/quad excersizes for prehab. will i need a knee brace after surgery? how long will it be until i can run at full speed? will i have the same extension/contraction of the knee that i once had? what is the best replacement for the ACL, patella tendon, cadaver? much appreciated for the advice.
