Atrhroscopy 1 year ago, still can't bend leg without severe pain

Can I do exercise to relieve this problem . I have taken anti-inflammatory medicine but would like to not have to take this for the swelling and don't have the time to spend hours with my leg elevated.

what kind of arthroscopy?
by: Bart - SII

What did they fix during your arthroscopy? Did you have a meniscus tear, cartilage damage, a loose body?

A year out from surgery for a straight forward arthroscopy you should have fairly normal motion. Your restrictions could be due to scar tissue formation, or some other type of problem within the knee. I would recommend following up with your physician - they might be able to give you options for improving your motion, or a referral to therapy which could help improve your motion.
