Well it all happened on march the 28th.
I play (American) football on the highest level there is in the Netherlands.
During this game a player from the opposite team went helmet first in to my knee. I felt a 'pop' right away, and knew it had to be my ACL.
When i went to the hospital all they did was take some x-ray's after which they said it is probably just a strain take some time off. I went to my physical therapist 3 weeks after when i finally could walk again. As soon as he did some test he knew something was wrong and send me to a specialist.
After the specialist took an MRI things got allot more clear.
My ACL is almost completely torn off, and my TCL is also quit damaged.
This Thursday (June 24th) i will finally have my surgery.
only thing is will my knee be strong enough to play football again??
