Debra's story 1 week after acl reconstruction

hi my surgery went really good even though i had more damage than the my doctor thought. i chose to have the nerve block and after the surgery i was glad i did.my surgery was last tuesday , wednsday a cpm was brought to my house and i started useing it that day (6 hrs) a day.i was having alot of pain that day i was taking a pain pill every 2 to 3 hrs. thursday my pain was weaking and by friday i was no longer needed pain medicine.i was up and walking around the house and tuesday i walked ( with a limp)into my doctors office . he took my stiches out and said everything looked good. and he released me to go back to work (sedetary only) one week to the day after my alc reconstuction. i go for my first physical therapy session today.is this normal to be going back to work a week after acl reconstruction? am i being rushed ?
