Extremely sore, bruised tendon and lower knee.

I recently knelt on the knots of the bathroom rug, knee cap moved the knee was extremely swollen and there seems to be a space between tendon attachment and knee cap. Still extremely sore climbing stair and and can kneel on it at all. It has been 3 weeks. Thank you
