I can not make a fist.

I took a fall playing hockey 3 weeks ago. I had a nasty bruise on the palm of my hand and some swelling in the palm for a week or so. Now, I can not make a fist. I can force my hand into a fist, but I have pain in my lower palm and my forearm from just above my wrist to the middle of it. The discomfort is on the bottom side of my arm. I can wiggle my fingers/thumb without any issues. Any ideas? Thanks!
