ACL surgery
by: Bart - SII

You can read more about the basics of ACL reconstruction to learn about what the procedure involves.

Most of the time it is done under general anesthesia - you go to sleep and wake up when it is over. Recovery time varies, but most people spend 1-2 weeks on crutches, and are able to return to normal sports activities around 6-9 months after their surgery.
