interior elbow pain migrating to shoulder

A while back the inside of my elbow began to hurt when I did any activity requiring me to use tweezers, particularly around my face where my arm was completely bent (hand almost to shoulder). It doesn't seem as bad in the morning, but hurts more as the day goes on.

It hurts when I have to squeeze or tighten my forearm, lift heavy objects while bending my arm, or completely bend my arm so the hand is almost touching my shoulder. It seems that I have let it go too long and now am experiencing pain in my shoulder (not sure, but I believe they are related).

My shoulder hurts more at night than in the morning, sometimes making it difficult to sleep. I am not a tennis player or golfer, though I did have trouble with my elbow many years back from saving my little boy every time he would stumble and almost fall, by pulling him up by the arm I was holding onto him with.

Is this just another example of the tennis/ golf elbow or something else?
