I'm an 18 year old competitive soccer player and have been playing club soccer since I was 10. Last year around the same time I tore my right ACL and meniscus. I used a cadaver to replace my torn ACL and they just trimmed the meniscus. Everything went well and after 5 months of rehab I was able to start playing soccer again. I played throughout the summer and fall.
This January I hurt my knee in a high school game and found out that I tore my left ACL and had some damage to my articular cartilage. I had surgery the next month and once again everything seemed to be going well. It actually seemed to be going faster than the first one. I was able to walk without crutches after a week and a half and have added weight to my exercises in physical therapy. Now I am 4 weeks post-op and I have notice that my knee sometimes catches when I try to bend it. It doesn't happen all the time but when it does it can be painful. I was wondering if this is something that is just going to go away in a little or should I go back to the doctor.
Thanks.
