kicked while playing soccer.

today at school soccer ( we dont wear shin gaurds) a girl took a kick right when i moved the ball away, leading her to kick me in the inside of my right ankle. i got up and tried to play the rest of practice. now it hurts even when i'm not doing anything to it, what could be wrong ? its swollen like and inch.

It could be a really bad bruise, or it might be a fracture. If it is swollen and painful and continues for more than a day or two, go see your doctor for an evaluation. In the meantime, ice, rest, compression and elevation should help.
