knee pain and swelling

I had sudden onset of pain and swelling in the right knee which has gotten worse over the past couple of days. Now I have a knot about the size of an egg on the right side of the knee?? Any suggestions

You should see your doctor about the swelling - could be an injury inside the joint or around the patella that is causing the swelling. If it doesn't go away in another day or two, get it looked at.
