My Daughter (hamstring pain with basketball)

My 10 year old daughter is complaining with her right hamstring hurting during basketball practice,and during basketball games. What can i do to ease this problem?

Make sure she is going through a proper warm up and stretching prior to practices and games. - 10 year olds sometimes have trouble focusing on these things so a little guidance may be needed - coaches often overlook this as well.

Ice after activities may also help reduce some of the muscle soreness after practices and games.

If it continues for more than a week, see your doctor for an evaluation to make sure there isn't anything serious going on.
