I have just started having acute pain in my right scapula region into my neck and down my right outer portion of my arm, even sometimes to my outer wrist area. Just sitting here on the computer gives me pain with movement of my fingers.I am scheduled to have an MRI in the next week and this problem is making me crazy.
I am not used to hurting like this with just putting my arm by my side or doing simple everyday tasks. I have found that with me when I have an acute cramp if I put my arm on top of my head I get some relief. I know that sounds crazy, but it is true. I am on steriods now and some pain medication. I have found that the pain med does not really work, it just dulls it somewhat. I am having some decreased strength also in my right hand at times. I am right handed.
Can you give me any suggestions?
