Question - Bruised Foot (1 week)

My sons foot is still swollen and bruised and it has been a week since his injury. Is it more than just bruised?

Bruising can last for several weeks after a signficant contusion, especially in the extremities as the bodies ability to absorb the fluid is not as good as it is closer to the trunk. If it is painful, limiting his activities, or getting worse, I would have him see your doctor.
