Question - Dislocated Patella

I have been in a leg brace for 3 weeks, I have recently taken it off but due back at the hospital on Monday. My knee aches alot and is tender. Is this normal?

Achiness is normal

Achiness after a patellar dislocation is very normal. This is especially true if you have had it in an immobilizer for the last few weeks and haven't been able to move it around.

I would talk to your doctor about starting some range of motion activities and rehabilitation, as this should help decrease your pain and get your recovery going.
