Question - Elbow Injury (pain with weight lifting)

by Liberty
(Texas)

I been lifting light weights everything was going well and I was progressing. The following day, my elbow was quite painful. It seems to get worse when I lift my arm or put it behind my neck. I have treated with ice and heat intervals. Took Tylenol, and today I took a anti-inflammatory medication. I don't know what to do or why my elbow became painful. My elbow is swollen and the inside of my elbow is painful at times when I tried to bend my elbow. my elbow is limited in range now.

Please HELP!

See your doctor...

You may have a simple muscle strain, or it could be something more serious. You should see your doctor for an evaluation to determine what exactly is wrong with your elbow and the best treatment course.
