Question - Elbow Pain - Chronic

by Mike
(Riverview, FL)

Based on what I've seen here, there is some sort of degenerative damage to my UCL. It hurts constantly but especially when lifting.

I am 38 and do not play sports with any frequency and it's my left (weak) arm.

How do you resolve the issue or at least minimize the pain?

Thanks.

Have you seen a doctor
by: Bart - SII

The best advice I can give you is to see a physician if you have not already. They can provide a lot of diagnostic information regarding exactly what is going on with your elbow. Once a sure diagnosis is found, then treatment options become more clear.

In the meantime, resting from activities that increase your pain, utilizing the RICE principles, and working on pain free range of motion may help. I would recommend seeing a doctor ASAP though, especially if you are having constant pain and it is limiting your daily activities.

Hope this helps - comment back with other questions.
