by Micheal Peer

I've been having trouble with my hamstrings all season long. I strained both throughout the season, I play arena football. Now its the off season and my hamstrings are fine but they feel weak, what should I do in the off season to prevent hamstring problems next season?

Dead lifts
by: Bart - SII

The absolute best strengthening exercise for the hamstrings is a romanian dead lift. If done with good form, and you don't overload the weight, it is a fantastic way to strengthen the hamstrings.

Running hills is also another way to help condition the hamstrings during the off season.

Also, make sure you are stretching out your hip flexors well, as they will add stress to the hamstrings if they are tight.
