Question - Jammed Thumb

I jammed my thumb playing basketball. Is it a good idea to pull it and keep moving it around?

Pain free movement only...
by: Bart - SII

As long as moving it doesn't increase your pain, it probably will not hurt anything and might keep it from getting stiff.

If movement increases your pain, or if it gets worse, you should see your doctor for an X-ray to make sure that you didn't break any of the bones in your thumb.
