Question - Knee (patella femoral syndrome)

I am 17 years old. I have cerebral palsy and I also have dealt with patella femoral syndrome for the past year and a half. I have had euflexa injections, femur deformities fixed, arthroscopic surgery, and I have tried physical therapy and pain patches. I have pain everyday and it won't go away. They won't do reconstructive surgery for my kneecap because I don't have enough tone.

What other options do I have to fix my knee?

exercises

Exercises to strengthen your hips and core muscles may help with your knee. The cerebral palsy can make this a long process, but a more stable core should help with your balance and your pain.

Did your therapy address any hip or core strengthening, or did if focus primarily on your quads?

Thank you for the comments. Physical therepy did not do much for me. It did mainly focus on my quad muscles. I only did the therapy initially right after I had my surgeries and then they told me to stop due to the amount of pain and they said it would not help to go any further. They were worried that it may cause more harm to continue tring to stretch and strengthen things if I would continue to push through the exercises in pain.
