Does anything rotate when you tear your MCL? Also, when you tear your MCL or ACL does any deep pain occur in the front of your knee?

Rotation is possible
by: Bart - SII

Sometimes the MCL is torn when the knee rotates, but usually rotation occurs more with an ACL tear. It really just depends on the type of injury you have.

It is common to have deep pain in the front of the knee with an ACL tear, however, not as common with the MCL. Most of the time an MCL hurts toward the inside of the knee, but you might have some pain in the front as well.

Hope this helps - comment back if you have other questions.
