what are the odds that i can return to playing soccer after having my meniscus repaired?

They should be good. Most people will return to normal sports activities after a meniscus surgery. If they go in and actually repair the tear, with sutures, the recovery is about 2-3 months - 4-6 weeks on crutches non weight bearing then rehab to regain strength. If they remove the torn portion, recovery is less, usually 4-6 weeks if all goes normally.
