ACL healing time
by: Bart - SII

If it is a partial ACL tear (less than 1/3 thickness), you are probably looking at 4-6 weeks to get your swelling down and motion and strength back. Could be faster, could be slower.

The problem with partial tears is that they usually don't heal well, so you may still have some looseness and or instability.

I have been struggling with chronic ACL defiency for over 3 years now! I am fed up...going through rehab right now, most like headed for more damage to my knee and surgery. Doctor #1 never ordered me an MRI so now my ACL is all out of wack. Extremely frusturating
