Four years ago, while riding my bicycle with my daughters, I fell off my bicycle to avoid rolling over one of my daughters who had fallen off her bicycle right in front of me. I basically flipped over my handle bars, landed over her, and ended up in a "crawl-like" position on the group.
When I got up, I had a bruise on my right knee, and I couldn't bear any weight on my left leg without causing serious pain. We were too far from home, but i did try to walk home while pushing my bike. That was so painful to my left ankle area. I gave up, and got back on the bike, because that was less painful, less pressure for some reason. I limped for a while, but I figured that it wasn't that bad to go to the doctor.
However, after the initial pain went away, my left ankle has always appeared "bigger" than my right ankle. Every now and then, it even "gives way" or is painful. Do you think I possibly fractured something and that is why 4 years later it still appears to be "bigger"?
Ninety percent of the time, it doesn't bother me, so you think I should see a doctor?
