Question - Thumb (lost range of motion)

by Danielle

My joint on my left thumb is slightly swollen and gets stuck at times. I have to use my other hand to wiggle the thumb to get it moving again. I don't have the same range of motion when bending my left thumb to my palm as in my right hand. I did not do anything to my hand/thumb that I can recall. It is almost like it happened over night.

You should see your doctor for an evaluation and an X-ray to see if you have some type of mechanical block and what might be causing your range of motion loss.
