Question - Wrist Injury (pain after fall)

I fell and injured my wrist 12 days ago trying to break the fall. I had some swelling and pain in the wrist when I move it. It is now not swollen anymore but when I play piano, I have some popping feeling and pulling in the wrist. It will swell again - just a little. Is it because it is not healed yet or do I have a more serious problem?

If the pain is decreasing, it is probably ok

I always recommend an X-ray with any type of wrist sprain due to a fall simply because a fracture can present without a lot of pain and swelling - so, to be safe you should probably have it looked at by your doctor.

If your pain is decreasing day by day, you probably just have a sprain...but I would get it looked at just to be safe.

Hope this helps - comment back if you have any other questions.
