Hi! As the subject line states...it has been about 6 years since I had my ACL reconstructed (hamstring Graft),and I am not yet 100% stable on that leg.
I was 30 when I had the surgery and was by then leading a pretty sedentary lifestyle (office job) I worked out Cardio about 2 X week
and lifted weights 1X2 week.
I have been to some very good physio therapists who have determined that my glutes (mainly) are week and my muscles are not properly firing.
I was given some stringent excercises to follow and I trie dthem for a few months, I felt a little bit stronger but not 100%
Im wondering if any of what I describe has been heard before?
My feeling is that I really have to take the rehab seriously (but it is VERY difficult) with 2 kids etc..
I want to belive that if I put 1 hr day 4-5 days a week into balance and strength excercises I would get this Knee rock solid (to match my left knee..also ACL surgury but I was 23, so the rehab was done much more to"code"
Anyway I look forward to your5 comments.

36 yrs old
5'10
