I play for an extremely competitive travel softball team and am the pitcher. I have been pitching for more than eight years now, but I have noticed that in the past year my shoulder has been KILLING me after tournaments... The pain is on the top of my shoulder and goes down the backside as well. Sometimes it even radiates down into my upper arm, but there is no swelling. The weird thing is that it will hurt for about two days after the tournament and then it won't hurt to where it's noticeable. Then I'll have pitching lessons or a tournament and it hurts again. I've looked around on the internet and everything I find seems to be some kind of rotator cuff injury... So I don't know because I don't think it could be a rotator cuff tear if it doesn't hurt all the time. Please help?
