I'm 13, and this happened in October. I weakened my knee by tripping in a soccer game. I was unaware three weeks later that I still needed to heal. My knee just gave out, and there were two pops. I collapsed to the ground, almost crying. THAT was some serious pain.
In December I had surgery, and at the beginning of after surgery, I felt like I was gonna puke/fall asleep/cough/sneeze. That feeling tires you out. Recommendation: get a Sprite or something with a little bit of caffeine in it after surgery to make you feel better if you think you're not gonna puke it up!
That night was absolutely horrid. If I moved my knee 1 inch, I would feel 10/10 pain. I was bawling and screaming, and my knee would shake because I was scared and I couldn't control it. I couldn't take it, so I cried and cried and cried until all I had left was anger from the hurt.
This was 2am. Not a fun night.
Days got better pain-wise, but it hurt the second day too pretty bad. I also was beyond scared to get up to go to the bathroom. It felt so bad! Sitting down and stand up were horrible. I also am naturally rosy-cheeked, and by the time I got to the bathroom, I looked I'm the mirror and was pale like a ghost.
Whatever the heck you do, PREVENT THIS. Google ways to prevent it. Do it so you never end up like me. Ever.
