I had a total detached supraspinatus and labrum lifting heavy weights. They were both repaired and then detached again a week later. A second surgery was performed and the surgeon said they were attached but I could tell the rotator cuff was still detached. A thrid surgery was done and the surgeon was unable to attach the supraspinatus, but the labrum was attached. So 3 surgeries in 3 months. Rehab is helping me acheive range of motion and I am lifting light weights again.I did a widegrip pull today 1 month after the last surgery.I was told I'll never do a overhead press again.Have you ever heard of someone over coming such a injury without a rotator cuff? What exercises can I do, and for what muscles, to build up use of the arm again? Thank You.
