Surgery soon

A year ago I tore my left knee ACL three quarters threw. In Canada they won't operate unless it is a complete tear so I was left to rehab it back to health without surgery. I play rugby competitively so I did all my rehab and went back as soon as my physio said I could. I was cleared to play on and had been practicing without contact for a few weeks. On the Thursday before the game I was practicing and made a hard cut and tore my right knee's ACL. It was a clean tear and I have been waiting for surgery for the last 6 months. I've gone almost a year without Rugby and it's looking like another year without it after I get surgery. How am I supposed to keep going without the thing I love most in my life? How do I stay encouraged? I coach to keep myself in the sport, but it's getting increasingly difficult to watch my friends/team mates do what I can't.
