In 2006 i tore my left ACL at 18 years old not knowing and never getting an MRI. I struggled with it for 2 years and getting a knee brace before getting an MRI and found my meniscus was torn too. Then in the summer of 2009 i tore my right ACL! i seen the specialist right after and he suggested to do surgery on my left first because there was more damage to that knee and it was always slipping out. I got surgery on November 2 2009 with a patellar tendon graft and its much better but since i delayed surgery for so long my meniscus is still giving me trouble. My left knee is still slipping out of place with no pain but just a week ago i heard a slight pop and my knee swelled up again. My second surgery is on March 3 2010 but im still getting pain in my other knee. and im also thinking of going with a hamstring graft. At 21 i am very active and i do alot of sports, Motocross and snowmobiling. And i want to get my knees fixed as soon as possible while im young. I always do my physio and its taking a while for my knee to get better. I am worring that i may need surgery again on my left knee to repair my meniscus! Any feedback on what i should do would be great.
Thanks
