As a great athlete on a great team my name is Randy Laster and this is my story. In my last regular season football game as a linebacker my coach sent me on a blitz right up the middle, little did i know that stunt cost me. After getting through the line i turned my eyes to the quarter back who saw me and began to roll out. I chased him and sacked him, but in doing so I planted and turned in a way that when me and the QB came down my knee popped and thus my torn ACL with medial meniscus damage. About a month later surgery, and now physical therapy. Im a junior in highschool with a 3.67 GPA and was ranked #1 in tackles in my state for 2 weeks straight with intentions on taking my football career to the next level. For now my dreams came to an abrupt stop but along with the many others I am scared i wont be back to where i was before. With determination and unrelenting therapy i will overcome this injury.
