torn medial and lateral meniscus

i am 14 years old and i had arthroscopic surgery on my lateral and medial meniscus and they did not repair them they cut the torn parts out and i just wanted to know how long it would take to get back to playing sports?

This type of surgery usually takes 4-6 weeks to recover from - that is when most people are able to start playing sports again - then it takes another month after you return to get to feeling really normal.

Everyone is different, some go faster, others slower, but this is the average.
