Crystal's ACL & Meniscus Surgery

Hi my name is Crystal and I'm 25 yrs old. I wanted to share a little bit of my story in hopes of getting some feed back from those of you who have been through this.

I torn my ACL, lateral meniscus and my medial meniscus was shredded.
I had surgery May 2, 2011...I received an allograft to repair my ACL, a few stitches in my L meniscus and removal of my M meniscus due to it being beyond repair. I missed a few PT appts due to not having a babysitter. When I went back to the doctor he informed me that I needed to have a knee manipulation because I had built up scar tissue and could only bend my knee to 43 degrees.
I had the knee manipulation 3 weeks after my initial surgery and it has now been 3.5 weeks since my knee manipulation. I can bend my knee to 127 but that's with my PT pushing on it. I can only get it to about 110 by myself. I know it takes a long and a lot of hard work to get it working properly, but my major concern is that I don't have full extension yet. SO I can't walk normally and I'm really concerned I'm never going to get the extension and I'll never walk normal. It's honestly freaking me out. It's as if my knee is stuck and it won't go back all the way.
Has anyone else experienced this and if so what was your outcome?
I'm trying to stay positive, but it's really difficult at this time.
If anyone could get me some advice or share a little of their experience, I would GREATLY appreciate it!!
Thank you in advance!

Crystal
